Privacy Policy
Effective 23 August 2026. This policy is written for the early access waitlist on this site. It will be replaced with a fuller policy covering the product itself once Rally is generally available.
Who's responsible for your data
This site is operated by Dev and Neel ("we", "us"), currently as individuals, not yet through a registered company. For the purposes of UK and EU GDPR, Dev and Neel are joint data controllers for information collected here.
Contact for any privacy question or request: bigmandev26@gmail.com.
What we collect
This site collects data through one place: the early access request form. Nothing else on the site tracks you. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts, and no third-party trackers.
When you submit the form, we collect:
- Email address, the only required field.
- Role, team size, current tools, and AI agent usage, all optional, used to understand who's asking for access.
We don't collect your IP address, device information, or anything else beyond what you type into the form itself. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log basic request metadata (like IP address) at the infrastructure level for security and abuse prevention, as is standard for any hosted web service, but we don't access or use those logs for anything beyond that.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use this data to manage the early access waitlist: to contact you about beta access, and to prioritize which teams we bring on first based on what you tell us about your setup.
Our legal basis under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) is your consent. Submitting the form is an affirmative action, and we only use the data for the purpose you gave it to us for.
Who else sees it
We don't sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. It passes through the following service providers, each acting on our behalf to run the waitlist:
- Neon (Postgres database hosting), stores your waitlist submission. Hosted in the UK (London, AWS eu-west-2).
- Resend (transactional email), sends the waitlist confirmation email to the address you provide.
- Vercel (hosting), serves this site and runs the form's submission handler.
Resend and Vercel may process data outside the UK/EEA as part of how their infrastructure works. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses) to keep the transfer lawful. You can read their own privacy policies for more detail on how each handles data.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist submissions for as long as your request for early access is active, and for a reasonable period after that in case we follow up about a beta invite. We don't keep it indefinitely: if you ask us to delete your data (see below), we will, and we periodically clear out old submissions that are no longer relevant to an active rollout.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct any of it that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, we'll remove you from the waitlist entirely.
- Withdraw consent at any time, with the same effect.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
- Ask for a portable copy of your data.
To exercise any of these, email bigmandev26@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU data protection authority.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed Postgres database with access restricted to the data controller. As a small, pre-launch project, this isn't backed by a formal security certification. If that matters to you, ask before signing up.
Children
This site isn't directed at, or intended for, anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Since the waitlist is small, we won't always be able to email every past submitter about minor changes, so check back here if you want the current version.
